JCU surgery competition

Helped out with a JCU event yesterday. Year 3 medical students taking part in a competition that tested their anatomy, dissection, suturing, knot-tying and keyhole surgery abilities. I was on the suturing station & took them through how to do 3 different types of stitches, after which they did their own and were scored on alignment, knot tension & strength and wound closure aesthetics.

The Fuji X-T10 is great for this kind of thing. Small & relatively inobtrusive, but sound quality, even at moderately high ISO. Quick editing done in Adobe Lightroom using VSCO Fuji Astia 100F preset. All the photos here.
